Our Story
Founded by three friends with diverse backgrounds, Osprey Labs was built to take on an ambitious challenge: revolutionizing industry and slashing carbon emissions. A carbon-free future has captured the world’s imagination, but it remains just a dream. At Osprey Labs, we work relentlessly to turn that dream into reality, starting today.
Osprey Labs isn’t just a name we chose - it’s one we embody. The osprey is a unique bird of prey, one of the only raptors that can dive into water to catch fish and launch straight back into flight. This remarkable ability is made possible by a set of rare adaptations, giving the osprey a higher success rate than even its eagle cousins. When founding our company, we saw the osprey as a powerful symbol of what we aim to achieve: adapting and innovating to enable new frontiers in electrification.
But the symbolism doesn’t end there. Once threatened by the pesticide DDT, the osprey made a comeback after a 1972 EPA ban, and today, it often builds nests on human-made structures. In that same spirit, Osprey Labs exists to transform today’s industrial challenges into tomorrow’s sustainable solutions.
